One Last Birthday Celebration

So back in August when our niece Norah was born, Aubrey and I stayed in Utah without Brandon for a couple of weeks. She ended up being quite a handful for Krystal (a new mom) and me, pregnant and still recovering from a ruptured cyst mom. When we got back I asked Brandon if we could make one last trip to Utah before this next baby arrives...without Aubrey. So, part of my 30th birthday present from him were tickets to Utah.

Now I love Aubrey, but this was a very nice relaxing break. I got to cuddle with my little niece without having to worry about taking care of Aubrey or making sure she's not being too rough with baby Norah :). Aubrey had a great time with both sets of grandparents this week. She was definitely spoiled with a zoo trip, lunches out, Starbucks treat, and a carousel ride :).

Despite it being extremely cold we had a great time spending time together, getting to hold our adorable niece, and eating out...a lot (which was nice and oh so yummy, but maybe we didn't have as much self control as we should have...especially a 33 week pregnant girl :). It was a great trip and we will miss them terribly as we always do.

This was a great 'last trip' before we become a family a four. We're looking forward to cuddling with our little one tonight! Hopefully she missed us just a little bit :).

Maternity/Family Pictures the Second Time Around

While my brother was in town a couple of weeks ago he took some awesome pictures of our little family and of our growing little bean.  These will be pictures we will cherish for a long time :).  It also makes it just a little more special to us that he is going to be this little one's uncle soon!

Weekends Off!!

Brandon finally has a shift where he has weekends off for the next year!! We are so excited. Despite some overtime shifts every third week we'll finally feel like he has somewhat of a normal schedule :). To celebrate his first weekend off we went to Tahoe to the family cabin to spend some time together. We are enjoying the freshly fallen snow and the bitter cold weather. Loving our time together!
