January Tidbits ~ 2020

Lucy had the class stuffed animal Oliver for a weekend.  We wrote about our adventures that weekend and took him everywhere we went :).

We went ice skating with friends and Oliver came along!

Crutches for Aubrey this month!  She sprained her foot on a vault in gymnastics.  Good thing it wasn't a bad sprain!

Fourth grade field trip to the state capitol at the end of the month.

Apple Pie Baking in Apple Hill

We went up Denver Dan's in Apple Hill to make some pies!  The girls got to make their own pies while learning a lot about math and apples. It was a bit of a chilly morning, but they had a great time and we had a little outing as a family!

Celebrating Aubrey's 9th Birthday

We celebrated with some mini celebrations this year.  First we celebrated with our neighborhood friends with cake and games one evening.

Nana did her annual birthday tea with the girls.  Aubrey wanted a flamingo theme and Nana did not disappoint! 

Then we had a family birthday celebration with dessert.  Aubrey wanted a strawberry-chocolate cake for this celebration.

And we celebrated with our dear friends with bowling and cupcakes at the park.

Lots of little celebrations made for one very loved little 9 year old in our house!  Happy birthday Aubrey!
