December Tidbits 2020

Christmas Pjs!

Lucy made her own board game...Sparkle!

The girls and daddy went to Tahoe for the night while mommy got a much needed break.  They went on a beautiful hike while they were away.

My parents retired!  (Well, retired on paper, but those of you who know my dad know he won't ever be fully retired!)

Brandon made me an epic birthday meal and we went out to see Christmas lights that evening.

Teacher's Christmas gifts were embroidered kitchen towels made by mommy and the girls.

Aubrey started tennis lessons this month and is loving it.  We're a little bummed this took the place of gymnastics for her, but she wanted to try something new!

Our annual ugly sweater cooker decorating happened this year!

Lauren and Aubrey had some fun looking at Christmas lights.

November Tidbits 2020

Brandon and I got a date afternoon one day!  We went out to lunch and took a long bike ride together.  it was just what we needed!

As for everyone, Thanksgiving was quiet this year, but we snuck in one picture with McKinley!

Here was the Thanksgiving dessert...pumpkin trifle!

Of course, more baking this month!  And we got to use a birthday gift that Aubrey got!

The girls had a really sweet tea time one evening, just the three of us.  We crafted, talked, and enjoyed the yummy scones we made together.

More Harry Potter themed goodies using her very creative gifts.

We set up the tent in the middle of our family room one day during Thanksgiving break.  It barely fit in our room, but the girls had an awesome time reading and watching a movie in it!

We had a spa day one night, but these face masks creeped me out so much they didn't keep them on for very long.

This girl.  Lucy is almost always willing to go for walks with me, and this particular afternoon was a perfect one :).  We just had the chance to just sit and talk...just the two of us.

Nana made her annual birthday tea for Aubrey.  It was a fancy tea party theme complete with homemade hats and all the goodies this birthday girl could want!

More baking!

November marked the end of distance learning for these girls (but not for mom).  They got to go to school from 8:20am to 1:20pm each day, and boy were they ready to go back!

Here comes December!
