Valentine's Day 2018

Valentine's Day morning daddy didn't have to work, so we took advantage of the time we had together and had a nice breakfast all together before Aubrey headed off to school and daddy headed out to work.  On the menu was French toast with strawberries and whipped cream.

 

We just love these little sweet hearts of ours!

 

Our girls were spoiled by their grandparents with little treats and gifts!

The girls were so sweet to make us their own Valentines :).

 



In the afternoon the girls had some strawberry, yogurt parfaits :).

We Got Away For the Day (Half Moon Bay)

This season hasn't been the worst we've had in the past as far as colds and sickness, but it's been bad enough that it's just been tiring.  Lucy with her high fevers and coughing all around us, we've just been a little run down lately.

 

My parents were very gracious that take the girls for us (sick and all) so Brandon and I could just have the day together.

 

So, where do we go?...to one of our favorite places, Half Moon Bay :).

 

I've wanted these particular roses for some time now and they sell these plants in one of the nurseries there.  That was our first stop for the day.

 

 

We then went on to a little café for a light lunch and walked along the beach, went out to The Barn for dinner, and on the way home went to Point Montara Lighthouse.  The lighthouse just happened to be a very quick, spur of the moment turn around along the highway, but boy are we glad we stopped!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



 

 

We were so thankful to be able to not be on a schedule for the day and take the time just for us during this busy, hectic season of our lives! 

 



It Snowed! (Tahoe ~ January 2018)

A few weekends ago we actually got some snow up in Tahoe!  We jumped on the opportunity of a free weekend to go and spend some time playing in the snow and spend some time together as a family!

 



 

 

 

 

 

 

Aubrey honed her snowboarding skills a little bit.  We need to get her on those slopes!

 

 

 

Lucy is kind of like Mommy in the snow.  She doesn't last very long in the cold.
