The Cousins Visit!

A few weeks back our favorite cousins came to visit!!  It was their spring break and they decided to make the trek and head over to California (where it was actually pretty and sunny when they were here!)! 

 

What can I say...we miss this family so much.  Every time we see Norah and Leah they have grown, each one of them can say more words, they are more interactive, have more personality and we just love them to pieces.  The girls got along so well on this trip and it was so fun to see them play together.  We tried to soak up every minute of it!

 

And another little girl is joining this bunch in September!  We are so excited and can't wait to meet the new little cousin!

 

One day, we decided to go to Funderland.  We had never been and had been wanting to try this place out for some time.  It ended up being the perfect day!  Wonderful weather, happy girls, and time together.  Brandon was even a trooper and walked around in his big boot with his broken toe! We couldn't have asked for more.

 

The rest of the time together we went to parks, took some walks, ate some great food, and enjoyed as much time together as we could the four days they were here!

 

We miss you Fox family and we're so glad you got to come and visit!

 

Signs Of Spring ~ Bubbles!

 

In the midst of all this rain we've been having, there has been some signs of spring!  We've had some sunny warm days here and we enjoyed a lot of time outside when the cousins were here.

 

Here's to more bubbles in the warmer days to come!

March Tidbits

 

March was full of lots of birthdays and celebrations!  We celebrated great grandpa's 88th birthday, Lucy's 4th birthday, and friends this month!

 

It's become tradition now that each girl gets a tea party for their birthday with a theme of their choosing.  This year, Lucy picked out a jungle theme for her birthday tea party!

 

We had our tea complete with stuffed animals and rainforest sounds :).

 



 

 

 

The weather got nice for a few days this month and we enjoyed our first bike ride of the season together.  This time Aubrey got to ride her bicycle on her own instead of riding in the trailer!  It was a big deal!

The girls decided to have their own tea shop one day.  Aubrey wrote out the menu and they pretended for a while with their little shop.

 

 

Daddy decided to make their shop look a little more realistic, so he made them a tea shop out of an old box, painted it, and put lights on it!  The shop is still up and in the corner of our family room ready to greet customers daily :).

We had crazy hair day at Awana this month!

 

 

 

And last, but certainly not least, our month ended with a little accident.  Brandon was playing with Aubrey and they were chasing each other around the house.  He slammed his foot on a door jam and down he went (while Aubrey was still trying to chase him with the blow up hammer!).  He ended up breaking his toe and is down for a couple of weeks in this boot, but he's on the mend!

 

March 2017 is in the books!
