Date night!!

Yesterday, after five months, we had our first official date night!  She's been babysat before, but never for a fun night out for her parents.  We went to PF Changs for dinner (where the last time we went was the day we found out we were pregnant with her!) and then on to Big Spoon and Peet's Coffee for some non-dairy treats.  It was kind of sereal that we were sitting there not having to worry about eating fast because Aubrey needs to eat soon, or making sure she has something to play with in her car seat, or making sure we have a pacifier on hand just in case she wants to showcase how strong those lungs really are.  We got to sit, eat, and just be us...for a couple of hours.  It almost felt like we were dating again!  Funny, we didn't get very far from Aubrey in our conversations though :)  Every time we seemed to talk about something, we always ended up talking about Aubrey in some way or another.  Oh how things change.  We had a great night and Aubrey did great for her grandparents.  We'll savor those precious times, just Brandon and I, that are few and far between right now :).
