Eight. You can't be eight already can you sweet girl?!
It's your golden birthday today! We still remember the moment you were born, but time has passed and you have grown into a beautiful girl that we are so very proud of.
You are one little book worm! You LOVE to read and you are fast! You can easily read a book in one day. Your current favorites are Judy Moody, Ivy + Bean, Harry Potter, Junie B. Jones, and Geronimo Stilton. We love hearing you read to your sister with expression and even different voices sometimes.
You are such a little gymnast and you DON'T. STOP. MOVING! Sometimes we think you are incapable of staying still! You are ALWAYS flipping around even when you just woke up and barely said good morning to us! You are strong and you're getting better and better each day with your skills in gymnastics. The beam is still hard for you to master, but you are working hard at it and you're determined to get those skills down. We love how you set up a jump rope on the ground to make sure you get the straight line form down.
You are determined. If you don't know something, you'll find out and do your research on it. If something is hard and isn't coming easy, you persevere through it and really try your best. You are inquisitive of the world around you and you have so many questions that are waiting to be answered.
You are a competitor. You love to win. You love any game that you can compete with someone in.
You love school. You love learning new things and are excited to go each day (OK, most days). We can't believe how much you have learned just this year already.

You are a practical joker and love to scare people. There have been many screams in our home because of you! :)
You are responsible. You come home and do your homework right away so you won't have to worry about it later. You do your chores without asking and you always seem to do more than your sister. Thank you for always being a great helper and for stepping up in so many ways.
Lucy adores you. She looks up to you. She always wants to be around you. She always wants to play with your friends. You are the best of friends, but boy do you two know how to argue sometimes! We love seeing your relationship grow. You try and correct her often...
