Evie's 35th Birthday

Thirty five. Crazy how time flies!

I love going to San Francisco especially around Christmas time!  Brandon had my birthday off and so we made a day of it there.  We went to Union square, La Boulange for lunch, and then ended at Golden Gate Park.  It was an absolutely beautiful day!  It was sunny and slightly warm and we spent a wonderful day together.

It was a wonderful day with my precious family and I enjoyed every minute of it!

9th Anniversary

On June 7 we celebrated 9 years of marriage!  We wanted to try and go away for the night somewhere, but it just wasn't in the cards with me still teaching and Brandon not having the time off.  We made the best of our crazy schedules and got away for the afternoon and evening to Sausalito.

It was an overcast day, but the weather was perfect.  There was a light breeze and the air was crisp.  We went to local cafĂ© and sat with a coffee and a scone (in the middle of the afternoon!).  What a treat that was just to sit and be able to do that for a moment with no interruptions :).

We went to dinner to Poggio and then on the way back home we treated ourselves to some very yummy ice cream at Fenton's on the way home.

We talked, we laughed, and we enjoyed being just us for a little while.  Funny, when you're working and you're a parent, you sometimes forget what it was like to be "just us." :)

Happy 9th Anniversary Brandon!  Here's to many more years of doing life together with you!   I couldn't have asked for a better partner to live this life with and I am so incredibly thankful for every day with you!  I love you!

A Day in the City

We decided to beat the heat a little by going to the city for the day while Krystal, Jon and the girls were in town.

We took the scenic ferry, and although it was a little chilly the ride was smooth and beautiful!

We walked Pier 39 and the girls enjoyed a merry go round ride :)

Here's a little video of our day together on the ferry :).

At the end of the day we played in the sand and devoured a tasty treat from Ghirardelli.  A wonderful ending to a great day together!
