December Tidbits 2018

December was a very full month!!

Brandon's work had such a fun, cute work party complete with crafts, food, cookie decorating, and Santa!

Someone was there to even take some more professional pictures :).

We had our annual ugly sweater cookie contest.

We celebrated my Baba's birthday for the last time this month.  She turned 87 and passed away about a week after this picture was taken.  This will always be a special picture to me :).

Looked at Christmas lights.

Santa flew on our house for the first time.

Lots of baking was done for coworkers and friends.

The girls had some fun Christmas activities throughout the month at school.

We had fun with cousins!

Arts and crafts time with uncle Jeremy.

We had some downtime at home.

For my birthday, we all went to see the Nutcracker.

And Brandon took the day off for my birthday and we went to Sonoma for a quick morning pastry and some time away.

Oh, and we also bought a new car in between some of these dates :).  This was Brandon's dream if he ever went to NorCal and certified, and he's almost there!

Christmas 2018

During Christmas break, we had some fun with family and cousins!  With my grandma passing away, we got to spend some extra time with family while they were in town for the funeral.  We were grateful for the little blessings in between such sadness for us.

Krystal and Jon had a little getaway for their anniversary mid December, we we got some fun time with Norah, Leah and Kate!

We decorated cookies and I think more frosting was consumed than actual cookies :).

Lucy was so sick this month that she missed decorating her gingerbread house from school.  her wonderful teacher sent a kit for her to do at home :).

We had some fun times with these cuties!

Christmas morning we had with daddy for a little bit of time, so we took the time together with just him before he had to head out to work.

The girls got to open one little present from us, but the real present was a trip to Disneyland in February!  They had to put together a puzzle that I made that said we were going.  Of course its our girls...when they put it together, they were excited, but they were bummed they had to wait so long.  (Their excitement really showed later in February when went!)

Baba got the girls matching PJs for them and their dolls :).

During the break, we decided to try our Sea Quest in Folsom.  It was a fun time!

New Year's Eve we had some fun as a family playing some games and eating some yummy food.
