January and February Tidbits

We got see our good friends Heidi and Josh while they were here for a quick visit one evening!  Its always like we just pick up where we left off :).  Texas feels too far sometimes.

We enjoyed the beautiful weather outside with some friends.

On those rainy days we created and crafted.

Our walks home from school were sometimes rainy, but these two don't seem to mind.

It's been so wonderful to have such awesome neighbors who have become close friends.

We honestly had one of the roughest months of sickness since the girls were born this month.  Mom escaped it all, but had to deal with really sick kiddos and hubby.  Our neighbors were so sweet and even brought us a meal one evening!

The girls saw some princesses.

We continued to try and build our endurance in riding bikes this month :).

The father-daughter dance was 80s themed this year.  Poor Lucy couldn't go because she got pink eye, but she still got dressed up and we had a nice dinner together before Aubrey and Brandon left for the evening.  Poor girl.  This season has been so rough on her especially!

Our mantle because yes, I seriously disliked the cold this year!

Lucy had a crazy shark tooth pop out!

This wasn't the worst view I had one day while working at home :).

I mean, she might have been super sick, but look at how peaceful and cute she is! :)

These sick and tired faces we unfortunately saw a lot these last two months.  We had strep, pink eye, and a confirmed flu go through our house!

These two tried to make the best of things.

They even slept on each other's floors so they wouldn't wake mommy and daddy up.  We really have some sweet girls.

Lucy moved up a level in gymnastics!

We managed to get away to Tahoe for a day in between storms.

The snow fort was pretty epic this year!

Nanny and Aubrey continued to play tricks on each other this month.  Aubrey set an alarm to go off on Nana's phone at 2:30am!  (For some reason the phone recognizes Aubrey's voice as Mary's :) ).
