4th Anniversary

We just cannot believe that we have already been married for 4 years!  With this anniversary we have been married longer than we were dating :).  We have felt so blessed and so fortunate to have so many blessings in our lives that are too many to count: a home, a new car, a healthy, beautiful girl, great friends and family, and a great job for Brandon to name a few.  We have enjoyed so many adventures together and we can't wait for what is to come :)

This anniversary we decided to take a day trip to San Francisco.  We haven't had a night out just the two of us let alone a day together in months, so when my sister offered to take Aubrey for the day we took her up on it :) It was a sunny, beautiful day with a little haze and a lot of wind.

On the way we enjoyed our favorite Starbucks beverage.  With our coffee in hand the GPS instructed us to take a short detour through the deep...DEEP heart of Richmond where I confused a high school for a prison. Not 10 minutes had elapsed when we passed San Quentin prison. It was there, that we decided that our GPS was trying to kill us.

When we got to the city we drove up to Twin Peaks to get some gorgeous shots of the city.

We ate at a small cafe on Polk street for lunch and then, as we did even when we were dating, went to the airport park where we could watch planes arrive and depart while sitting along the water.

After we felt like we got enough sun for the day, we went to dinner at a place we went to on our honeymoon in Hawaii, Roys.  I got to enjoy my seafood while Brandon enjoyed his steak.  Since we are usually not night owls anymore we decided to take a short drive over to the piers and walk a little.
