Lucy's 4th Month

This month our little lady has been learning and changing A LOT.  She's been especially busy this last week!  She is definitely not an infant anymore :( but a baby who is growing more and more everyday.  It's so neat to watch her grow, but a little bittersweet as a our baby is growing up so fast!!

At four months Lucy:

~ now sleeps in her crib

~ turns when called by name

~ really likes TV.  It's not on often, but she sure arches her back to see whatever she can of it.

~ still REALLY hates the car and the car seat :(.  She screams all the way to our destination most days.  She did fairly well the other day as we were driving home though!  We'll take it!

~ loves to put her arm up and rest it on your chest when you are rocking her :).

~ arches her back when she is going to sleep.  As of this week she now sleeps on her side most of the time.

~ had her first overnight trip with my parents away from mommy and daddy this month.  Mom did pretty good :).

~ GIGGLED for the first time on Father's Day!  Mommy and Daddy missed it as we were away for the night, but she has giggled every day since.

~ had her first Father's Day and first Fourth of July

~ had her first trip to the family cabin

~ had her first overnight stay in a hotel with her cousin, aunt, and grandma

~ is one strong girl!!  She loves to stand and doesn't sit still for a minute!!

~ still loves baths :)

~ found her feet.  They have made it into her mouth a few times, but she would rather just hold onto them.

~ has developed a shrill scream when she is excited and when she gets up in the morning.

~ loves to touch faces

~ turned from her back to her tummy on July 1st!!  Aubrey is a proud big sister :)

~ constantly chews on her fingers

This momma takes lots of pictures so here are some that were taken on a couple of her really good days :).

Baby girl, you have given us so much joy, smiles, and laughter every day.  We just love you to pieces!!  We're looking forward to this next month ahead!
