Lucy's 8th Month

This month felt like it flew by faster than any month so far!  She's growing up fast!

 

 

At 8 months Lucy:

~ got her first and second tooth a day apart!  This girl was pretty miserable the two days before.

 

~ still does her little head bob when she is excited, wanting some attention, or just really happy :)

 

 

~ had her first visit to the pumpkin patch.  You can see the post about that here.

 

 

 

~ plays peek-a-boo with you with her blanket.  She puts it over her face and when you say, "Where's Lucy?" she takes off the blanket and shows us her big smile.

~ was watched in the church nursery for the first time this month and she did well!

 

~ loves to bang and drum on things.  This always brings a pretty big smile to her face :).

 

 

~ is sleeping a lot better now at night!!

 

~ cries when you leave the room sometimes.  She just wants the company but can entertain herself pretty well :).

 

~ is still doing her army crawl...

 

 

The last couple of days, however, she's been actually crawling a little bit!

 

~ is doing a lot better in the car!!  We don't have to screaming fits nearly as often as we used to and it's a calm car on most trips!!

 

~ can hold a bottle.  She doesn't get a bottle very often but as much as she is distracted while eating she may be getting more in the near future :)

 

~ had her first Halloween

 

~ babbles a lot

 

~ loves to crawl under furniture (just like her sister used to)

 

 

~ loves her Sophie
 

~ loves to stand so the jumperoo has been used a lot!  She just can't sit still when you're holding her!

 

 

~ still laughs at her sister all the time!!  No one can make her laugh more :).

 

A gummy smile no more, just about crawling, and sleeping better...what a big month!!  We love you baby girl.  Happy 8 months!
