Celebrating Lucy's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Lucy turning four a few weeks back.  We were supposed to have some family and close friends celebrate with us at a park, but the weather didn't cooperate with us that day, so we had to change the location last minute to Nana and Papa's house.  Thank goodness they were willing to host because it was cold, windy and rainy that day, which would have made celebrating a little bit harder.

Lucy wanted a Tinkerbell birthday, so we had some details where Tink made her appearance in :).

Lucy was all smiles that day and she was so excited!

The morning of Lucy's birthday, Brandon, Lucy and I took a walk to Starbucks and got her a special birthday hot chocolate.  The girl loves her sweets!

When Aubrey came home from school that day we had a girls spa afternoon!  The time was complete with a foot soak, painting finger nails, and a banana yogurt parfait treat.

The girls enjoyed this fun time of pampering!

That evening we celebrated with making pizzas and having family come over for cake after dinner.

At the birthday girl's request, mommy made a mint-chocolate cake.  This girl won't eat peanut butter, but she LOVES mint and chocolate!

Oh, the many faces of our Lucy girl :).

This quote I just loved and it totally sums up our little girl:
"She was one of the rare ones, so effortlessly herself, and the world loved her for it." ~ Atticus

Lucy is so effortlessly herself in so many ways and she's not afraid to show her bold spirit :).

You're officially 'fur' now sweet girl!  Happy Birthday Lucy!  We hope you felt the love that others have for you!  Thank you to all the family and friends who helped out and made our little girl feel so special and so very loved!
